GP2Y1010AU0F Digital dust sensor 

This component reference GP2Y1010AU0F is a dust sensor by optical detection system. An infrared emitting diode and a phototransistor are arranged diagonally in this device. It detects the light reflected by the dust in the air. It is effective to detect very fine particles such as cigarette smoke. In addition, it helps to distinguish smoke from house dust by differences in output voltage pulses.

The detection of fine particles is greater than 0.8 microns in diameter.
