The Raspberry Pi Zero was already an impressive board for connected and embedded projects, but it has become even better with the addition of dual wireless Wi-Fi and BLE connectivity

The Pi Zero W has the same features as version 1.3, but with built-in Wi-Fi connectivity thanks to the BCM43143 chipset. It also has Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connectivity, making it an ideal platform for IoT projects.

Although the Pi Zero W looks like version 1.3 at first glance, the additional connectivity allows for a wide variety of potential applications.

The Raspberry Pi Zero W is still versatile and offers the possibility to add electronic extensions via the 40 GPIO points. Please note that the board does not come with a 2x20 connector. You will have to buy it as an option and solder it (we can do it for you depending on the quantities, contact us!).

The Raspberry Pi Zero W is the sleekest and thinnest Raspberry Pi board to date, with only one micro SD card slot, one mini HDMI port, two micro USB ports and 512MB of RAM.

Finally, the Raspberry Pi Zero W retains the same form factor as the Pi Zero v1.3, making it compatible with 100% of cases and accessories.
