• How long is the battery life of the intelligent thermostat?

The WT101 uses two AA Li-FeS2 (Lithium Iron Sulfide) batteries, which offer an exceptional lifespan of up to approximately 5 years. This estimate is based on a 10-minute reporting cycle and a once-only check during a 5-month heating season at an ambient temperature of 25°C.

• What protection does the WT101 offer?

Frost protection: automatically activates heating to prevent pipes from freezing when temperatures fall below a certain threshold.
Open window detection: automatically reduces heating when the device detects a sudden drop in temperature caused by an open window.
Child lock: locks controls to prevent accidental or unauthorized operation by children.
System alert: includes tamper alert and anti-theft collar for physical protection against theft or tampering.

• How does the WT101 sensor detect an open window?

It features an open-window detection function. When there is a rapid drop in room temperature, the thermostat assumes that a window is open and automatically reduces heating to save energy. 

• What is the WT101's communication protocol?

The radiator thermostat uses the LoRaWAN® (Long Range Wide Area Network) communication protocol. This enables it to transmit data over long distances with low power consumption. Compatible with IN865, RU864, and EU868 frequency bands, it can be easily integrated into most current IoT networks.

• How accurate is its built-in temperature sensor?

The WT101 thermostat is equipped with an NTC temperature sensor with an accuracy of ±0.5°C in a temperature range from 0°C to 50°C. This enables extremely precise control of room temperature, guaranteeing optimum comfort.
