Kit Sigfox Breakout board BRKWS20 Quad Mode Module (Sigfox - Wifi - BLE - GPS) + Antennas

The BRKWS20 breakout is a relatively small SigFox breakout card, based on the Quad mode module from Wisol SFM20R1 (EMEA region). This board will allow you to integrate and use the SigFox LPWan network in your IOT project design including the features of Wifi, BLE and GPS.

The whole thing offers a very simple data transmission functionality.

The BRKWS20 breakout board provides an easy way to test the quad mode module from Wisol WSSFM20R1 under real conditions. Its small size and design allows users to quickly take control of its functions while having the opportunity to include it in a real prototype size.

Particular care was taken on the integration of Wifi and BLE antennas to reduce the application. The use of external antennas for GPS and Sigfox communications allows optimal radio transmission performance.

A 10-pin connector has been provided to allow programming of the built-in ARM Cortex M4F processor (512kB Flash / 64kB RAM) and access to the WIFI TX / RX pins.

A footprint for a second standard 24-pin connector has also been integrated to allow access to the different I / O of the module.

The applications of this module can be very varied and its integration is ideal for a tracker type application.

The module supports:

• Sigfox RC1 transmission Configuration 
• WIFI (2.4GHz): supporting 802.11 b / g / n
• Bluetooth version LE BT4.2
• NFC Type 2 tag (NFC-A) with wake-up functions and contact duplication function.
• GPS that supports GPS and GLONASS.
• Integrated accelerometer providing ± 2g / ± 4g ± / 8g dynamically configurable

 

This card is manufactured in France in our offices.
