Raspberry Pi Power Over Ethernet (PoE) expansion card

An accessory (HAT) for your Raspberry Pi computer allowing to power your Raspberry Pi 3 model B + via an Ethernet cable.

 

For this product to be usable, the network to which it is connected must be Power over Ethernet compatible and be powered by a power supply.

Caution: It can only be used with the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B +

Before installing the PoE HAT, you must attach the supplied spacers to the four corners of the board.
Install and connect the Raspberry Pi PoE HAT to the connectors on the Raspberry Pi.
Once the PoE HAT board is connected, you can power the Raspberry Pi via its RJ45 network connector.

No modification of the Raspberry Pi main board is required for this product to work. Please ensure that your Raspberry Pi software is up-to-date so that all features are available. The PoE HAT is equipped with a small fan controlled by the Raspberry Pi via I2C. The fan turns on and off automatically according to the temperature of the Raspberry Pi's main processor.
